Purchase Policy

1. COUPONS AND DISCOUNTS

Our goal is to maintain the affordability of our Products, and we frequently distribute store credits or coupon codes, collectively referred to as “Coupons,” through various channels as part of special offers, promotions, or refunds. Unless otherwise specified, each special offer or promotion entitles you to only one Coupon, and you are prohibited from combining Coupons or applying them retroactively to your order. Coupons hold no cash value and can only be used once, up to the maximum discount amount specified.

Please note that Coupons may be subject to additional terms and conditions specific to each offer or promotion, such as requirements to tag and post photos or videos with your painting on social networks. We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether you qualify to receive certain Coupons.

Depending on the terms and conditions of the relevant offer or promotion, you may need to redeem Coupons by a specified date. Typically, Coupons remain valid for up to 180 days from the date they are granted, unless stated otherwise. Failure to redeem your Coupon before the specified expiration date may result in its forfeiture.

Any contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions offered through the Site may have separate rules distinct from these Clauses or other terms outlined in our Terms of Service Policy.

Unless otherwise indicated in the rules of such Promotions, we retain the right to terminate or modify the terms of any Promotions at any time without prior written notice. If you choose to participate in any Promotions, please review the applicable rules along with our Privacy Policy. In cases where the rules for a Promotion conflict with these Clauses or other terms outlined in our Terms of Service Policy, the Promotion rules will take precedence.

Any misuse of Coupons or violation of additional terms and conditions specific to offers or promotions, as determined by us at our sole discretion, may lead to the cancellation of Coupons and your exclusion from future promotions or access to the Site.

2. GIFT CARDS

When you purchase, redeem, or accept a portraitsoncanvas Gift Card (“Gift Card”), you agree to abide by this Purchase Policy and our Terms of Service.

Gift Cards are available for purchase only in eligible countries and are exclusively for use in purchasing Products and other services at portraitsoncanvas.com. Each Gift Card can only be redeemed once, and any remaining balance will be voided and cannot be used in future transactions. If a purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another payment method available on our site.

Gift Cards issued in United States Dollars (USD) require purchase with a credit or debit card having a valid US billing address. Similarly, Gift Cards issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD) must be bought using a credit or debit card with a valid Canadian billing address. Gift Cards in USD or CAD have no expiration date and can be used irrespective of any stated expiration date.

Gift Cards issued in Australian Dollars (AUD), British Pounds (GBP), or Euros (EUR) may be purchased with a credit or debit card having a valid billing address in the respective eligible country. However, Gift Cards in GBP, AUD, and EUR expire 36 months from the date of purchase, as stated in the email sent to the recipient. Once expired, the Gift Card cannot be redeemed.

Gift Cards are non-resalable and cannot be used for transactions outside of portraitsoncanvas.com, unauthorized advertising, marketing, promotional or commercial activities, redeemed for more than their face value, transferred for value, or exchanged for cash or refunded for cash except where required by law. Furthermore, Gift Cards cannot be used in conjunction with Coupons or any other discount codes.

The responsibility for Gift Cards, including the risk of loss and title, transfers to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or the designated recipient. We cannot be held responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, or used without authorization.

3. STORE CREDIT

Currently, we do not offer Store Credit.

4. ORDER PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING

Insufficient information in orders may cause delays in processing. At times, we may need to reach out to you for confirmation, including approval of relevant paintings or additional details, which could further delay order processing. Nevertheless, we will endeavor to promptly notify you of any delays.

5. SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY

Orders will be dispatched to the address provided on your order form within a reasonable timeframe following production and quality checks.

Typically, orders are shipped within 7 Business Days after full payment confirmation; however, external factors may cause delays. Delivery times vary depending on the destination. Please be aware that shipments to locations outside the United States may be subject to additional local taxes.

We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays attributable to carrier issues. Consequently, such delays will not result in a refund of shipment costs; nonetheless, we will strive to assist you with these delays in a timely manner.

Kindly note that all international shipments may be subject to customs regulations, with any related charges being your responsibility. We cannot be held accountable for these incurred charges.

During order placement or upon approval of the online proofing of your painting, you will be prompted to select service, shipping, and delivery options. Standard service with standard shipping typically takes around 7 Business Days from the shipping date. For a supplementary fee, you can opt for express service, express shipping, or both. However, upgrading your shipment does not guarantee overnight delivery.

We will furnish you with the estimated delivery time upon order placement and may adjust it following your approval of the online proofing of your painting. Delivery times are approximations and exclude production and verification stages.

Accurate address entry is vital. If the shipment is destined for a commercial entity (e.g., an office or hotel), please specify the relevant entity. Failure to provide complete address details may lead to shipment delays and increased product costs. We will not refund or exchange products shipped to an inaccurate address due to missing or incorrect details.

It is your responsibility to make arrangements (e.g., informing a neighbor) to accept delivery within a reasonable timeframe after the estimated delivery time. Products become your responsibility upon delivery (or tendered delivery). We will not be liable for delays caused by customs clearance or any duties charges or fees payable on the export or import of any Products, which will be your responsibility.

Any shipping claims must be lodged within 30 days from the shipping date.

6. RETURN AND EXCHANGES POLICY

We strive to simplify the process of exchanges for you.

While we’re confident you’ll love our Products, if you’re not entirely satisfied with your artwork, you have a one-time option for a refund within the first 30 days after delivery. This refund covers your payment or gift card value (excluding shipping costs to and from your delivery address) or a product exchange of equal or lesser value. It’s hassle-free, no questions asked. Simply return the Painting in its original packaging. If you’ve purchased additional services (such as a video of your painting’s creation), you may need to return the Painting for a full refund of both the painting and additional services. In the event that your painting arrives damaged, please inform us by filling out the contact form. We’ll either repair the damage or, if irreparable, create a new artwork for you at no extra charge.

Should the frame accompanying your artwork arrive damaged, we’ll promptly refund the frame price or replace it with a new one.

If the painting is lost during shipment by the courier, we’ll send you a new artwork at no cost to you.

Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.) within 30 days of receiving the item (or in the case of cancellations, within 30 days of submitting the cancellation request) and confirming your eligibility for a refund. Please note that some refunds may take more than 30 days from the purchase date to be processed.
